Bareboat or crewed yachts in Greece
Both bareboat and crewed charter guarantee an excellent way of exploring the Greek coast. Whether you will take the first or the second option it is all up to your choices and your preferences.
Both are interesting and provide different ways of spending your sailing holidays.
You can either take a boat and handle it yourself or hire a crew to take care of all the activities regarding navigation and provisioning.
If you are looking for more privacy, then you can choose a bareboat, provided that you are an experienced sailor with all the necessary documents for navigation. However, hiring a crew does not necessarily mean lacking of privacy, for they will have their own cabins and won't disturb you during your journey, but they will be at your disposal whenever you need them.
A gulet charter may be of a great interest for those who are looking for a romantic cruising along the Greek coast. These are all comfortable traditional wooden boats with spacious cabins and a large deck. You do not necessarily have to charter the whole boat, unless you want to spend your holidays with a group of friends or a family. You can take only a cabin and share a boat with other passengers. This way you get to know not only the Greek islands but new people, which might be interesting as well.
